Avery Burdette was born in Guntersville, Alabama and began playing the foot pedals of his mother’s organ at the age of 4.  After abandoning the trombone for rock keyboard in the late '60s, he eventually moved to Boston to study music composition at the Berklee School of Music. He has been playing acoustic piano, organ and keyboards ever since.  Back in Alabama, he formed the Burdette Quartette and gained local notoriety as a jazz player. Avery later moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he played honky-tonk, blues, country and rock ‘n' roll, both as a studio musician and on the road as a sideman for many incredible headline artists.

The Avery Burdette Jazz Trio Is made up of some of Southern California's greatest Jazz players. Their goal as a group is to tailor their show to be a perfect fit for your event. Whether your need is for background music or for a headliner Jazz show, the Avery Burdette Jazz Trio is the perfect option. Additional players can be added to accommodate your event needs.
