The show is extremely interactive and draws crowds
from all ages and features Craig (formerly known as Eddie Kidd) on lead vocals,
acoustic/electric guitar, piano and harmonica. The trio is completed by
electric bass player/vocalist Joe Dolci and drummer/vocalist Gus Moratinos. CC3
plays an array of music from Green Day, Cold Play, Matchbox 20 to The Eagles,
Elton John, Billy Joel, the Beatles along with a variety of classic and
contemporary rock, country, blues, sing-alongs and original music.
This is a new band is packed full of
great arrangements and 3 part harmonies of both familiar and newer
contemporary rock songs spanning the last 50 years. What makes this
act so special is the ability of front man Craig Colley to play
multiple instruments, sing most any style and connect, engage and
involve the audience in a way most performers never think of. There
are no backing tracks, no karaoke, just pure, well rehearsed and
executed live music which seems to be a rarity these days. This act
is pleasing crowds from all ages.
Craig Colley started his music career at
the age of 11 and has since performed over 12,000 gigs. After
majoring in music at Northern Illinois University, Craig began his
full time professional career in 1977 as a traveling musician and
songwriter performing all across North America, Europe, and Korea.
As a songwriter/composer Craig has written over 600 songs, recorded
6 albums and has written music for VH1, ABC & CBS television shows.
He is the
author of a best selling “how to do” book for aspiring musicians
entitled “You Can Make Money In Music” (available on Amazon.com) and
holds a Guinness World Record for being a member of the first under
water rock &
roll band (circa 1989). Craig has written and produced many albums
for local artists at his recording facility.
Working with Craig are Joe Dolci, an
accomplished composer, published songwriter, singer, bassist and
pianist who has worked with pro artists and songwriters. Joe’s
roots are in rock and early classical training, Joe has been
creating and performing music in a variety of styles including rock,
pop, jazz and classical since he started playing piano and electric
bass at the age of 9. Joe received his Bachelor of Arts at The
Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and has composed and published
several songs for Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company.
Along with Gus Moratinos who studied
drums & percussion with Luis Conte and Chuck Silverman at the
prestigious Grove School of Music in Studio City, Ca. Throughout the
years he has worked with such diverse artists as Duff McKagan, ZZYZX,
Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, Corey Feldman, Dick
Dale, Maxine Nightingale, Sol Reflexion, John Parr (St. Elmo's
Fire), and Chris Dane Owens and has collaborated with members of The
Doors, America, Marvin Gaye, Eddie Money, Ozzy Osbourne, Allan
Holdsworth, The Fab Four and The Beach Boys.
