This 6-piece ensemble of accomplished
musicians is dedicated to bringing its talent and love of Heart’s
memorable music of the '70s and '80s to the stage with unequaled
accuracy and musical skill. Complete with retro-inspired costumes,
Dog N’ Butterfly is a Heart tribute band that takes the concept of
“tribute” to a whole new level!
Created in late 2003, this talented
group is headed by vocalist Lizann Warner, who’s been singing
professionally in a variety of successful performance groups for
over 17 years. Her uncanny vocal impersonations of Ann Wilson have
earned her much praise and notoriety, even among Heart’s former
members. Lizann’s voice is also featured on the widely popular video
game, Guitar Hero III, singing “Barracuda” and on Konami’s game,
Rock Revolution, singing “Magic Man”. Joined by Sissy Martin, a
talented vocalist and musician who plays both electric and acoustic
guitars, this dynamic duo duplicates Ann & Nancy Wilson’s memorable
harmonies so closely, your ears will do a double take. Lead
guitarist Sean Clegg is the band’s musical director. With a masters
degree in guitar performance from
Cal State University, Fullerton, his
leads have been recognized by (former Heart guitarist) Roger Fisher
himself who said, “I thought that was me playing for a minute!”
Rounding out the line-up are Scott Snyder on bass (who also performs
with the internationally famous rock band, Great White) and David
Pimentel on drums, whose thumping rhythms were viewed and endorsed
by Michael Derosier, the original drummer of Heart. All members of
Dog ‘N’ Butterfly have years of touring experience and countless
stage and studio performances to their credit.
Dog N’ Butterfly has been wowing
crowds at notable venues such as the world famous House Of Blues in
California and Boulder Station In Las Vegas, as well as casinos,
festivals and private events throughout California, Nevada, Colorado
and Washington. They perform all the '70s hits loved by die-hard
fans worldwide, as well as the chart-toppers that brought Heart back
into the limelight and mainstream radio in the '80s. With their
eerie Heart-like vocals provided by Lizann and Sissy, this band
painstakingly recreates every note and nuance of Heart’s memorable
music. This, coupled with their high-energy stage show and retro
costumes, makes Dog N’ Butterfly a virtual tour-de-force of talent
and dedication, providing audiences with exactly what they
