Philip Solomon

          Philip Solomon is a performer of extraordinary variety and versatility that performs, produces and entertains as an actor, musician and circus artist, all over the world.

          Appearances include the Late Show with David Letterman, the Jerry Lewis Telethon, with Jennifer Lopez on the American Music Awards, the 2007 BCS Fiesta Bowl, 2006 MLB All-Star Game, 2002 Super Bowl in New Orleans, the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and with musical acts Jane’s Addiction, Alice Cooper, The Eagles, Bella Fleck, The Commodores, Kool and the Gang, OK GO and many more. Feature film appearances include Rush Hour 3, Austin Powers 2 and Being John Malcovich and independent films such as In the Flesh. Philip is featured in music videos, as well as numerous national television guest appearances and commercials that include Citibank, IHOP, Taco Bell, Tropicana and Radio Shack.

          As an actor, Philip graduated from the prestigious Cincinnati Conservatory of Music (CCM) with a B.F.A. in Dramatic Performance and works with some of the world’s finest theater companies- such as The Royal National Theater of Great Britain, the renowned KU NA’ UKA Theater of Tokyo, Japan and the Julliard Theater in Lincoln Center.  Off-Broadway credits include originating the role of Tsunami in Journey to the West, written by Richard Oberacker of Cirque du Soleil’s KA at the MGM Grand. 

          He produces performances and programs for clients such as Coca-Cola, Warner Brothers, Shaw Industries, McDonald’s Corporation, IBM, CitiBank, America On-Line, Sony, National Speakers Association, Microsoft, AT&T, Disney, E-3, Sikorsky Helicopters and the Royal Family of Jakarta.

          Musically, Philip produces, composes, directs and has toured extensively.  Music direction credits include Hedwig and the Angry Inch, The Rhythm of Success, Premiere Performance, and the Porcelain Penelope Show.  His original music is performed on stages all over the world as well as on HBO, MTV, CBS, ABC and FOX.

          Currently residing In Los Angeles, Philip is the coordinator, coach, and trainer for the social outreach program of Cirque Du Soleil-Cirque Du Monde.  This program positively intervenes with at-risk youth by teaching circus skills to help them build self-esteem, confidence, and social interaction skills.
