The cocktail hour generally incorporates a contrasting style of
music with different instrumentation than either the ceremony or the
reception.
MWE usually requests the bride and groom to make a list of their
favorite tunes and then integrates them into the performance.
We've even had a "guest request hour", which was met with rave
reviews. At many weddings, MWE arranges all the music for the
ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, sometimes using different
performers at each.
