Jennifer Keith

Songbird Jennifer Keith comes from a family full of entertainers.  In fact she stems from Hollywood lineage beginning with her Great Great Grandfather  B.F. Keith who was the “K” in RKO. Jennifer began her professional singing career at the age of eighteen; She appeared weekly at the beautiful Madison supper club in Long beach where she was a featured vocalist in the “in house” swing band.  It was here that she started learning the classic vocal styling from greatest era of music.  The Jazz & pop singers from the 1940’s and 50’s including Peggy Lee, Ella Fitzgerald, Keely Smith, Julie London & June Christy heavily influenced Jennifer. It was at age 19 when she met Royal Crown Revue tenor saxophonist Mando Dorame who guided her musical direction and later formed her first  jazz quintet. Coupled with jazz standards,  Jennifer also incorporates a bit of classic country in to her repertoire. Some have described her voice as a combination of Peggy Lee meets Patsy Cline with a sprinkle of  June Christy.

More recently Jennifer has performed in various venues both throughout the United States and abroad as a guest vocalist with the acclaimed Royal Crown Revue. Performances included a prestigious Egyptian tour as a guest of the State department, and an Australian tour.  In November of 2010, Jennifer once again joined Royal Crown revue for a European tour of Greece, Spain and England along with an encore tour of Australia in early 2011.

Jennifer’s passion is to keep classic American music alive and cherished!
